Artist's Statement:

I believe paintings are made through examining the world in our lifetime. They are representations of different subjects that inspire our eyes and minds. In the painting, I use shape, value, color, light, and models integrated with different styles as subjects to display beauties and mysteries with transparent shadows. Most of my paintings are landscape and still life where I can effectively use light and shadow to tell the story of beauties in life, and sometimes to describe the transcendent feelings that I sense in the world of art. I believe the process is very important for each of my paintings.
