My husband & I take a daily three mile walk with our golden retriever, Chloe. Quite often we encounter deer along the canal. Now that Chloe is a year & a half, we can usually keep her attention and talk her out of giving chase. Maybe the deer think they have fooled us & they are so camouflaged that we don't see them!
